About Tambrala

About the Proprietor of The Vineyards Bed and Breakfast

Tambrala’s journey to The Vineyards Bed and Breakfast began one cold, Midwestern winter evening as she sat at the fireplace, sipping Pinot Noir and asking herself why she continued to endure bitter winters. As the wine flowed, she became even more prophetic with her questions: Why am I putting up with the daily work grind? Where would I most like to live? What new career path could I take? Am I brave enough to give up a comfortable lifestyle and take the plunge?…

You get the picture. The beginning of a wonderful new adventure was born that night! Tambrala resigned from a 19-year School Psychology career (as well as her Wedding Coordinator business) and chose the most amazing place to move her family: Page Springs, Arizona just outside of Sedona.

As someone who loves to travel, she’d visited Sedona often and had fallen in love with the beauty and versatile adventures that the area has to offer (not to mention the awesome year-round weather). Her favorite thing to do while vacationing was to find a Bed & Breakfast for lodging. She loved staying in homes where she felt like family and could trust the hosts with all of their local recommendations.  Often, her hosts would comment on the fact that she would be a wonderful B&B host due to her social nature and love of B&Bs. (Tambrala always wanted to be Julie, the cruise director from The Love Boat. That shows her age, she knows.) Voila, her new career path was born.

As your cruise director, Tambrala can assist you with personalized wine expeditions, fun girls’ getaways, shopping excursions, hiking adventures, ..… or coordinate a dream-come-true wedding in a magical location. As someone who LOVES music, she’ll want to do everything to make sure your visit is filled with music, which is why she has a piano and a guitar for guests to use during their stay.  It is not uncommon for guests to bring even more instruments and a jam session happening at the tiki bar. Yes, she has a tiki bar at the pool to mimic that tropical beach feeling that we all enjoyed so much on past beach vacations. Her goal is to offer amazing memories filled with good friends, good food, music, ‘tropical’ breezes, unforgettable Southwest experiences and gracious Midwest hospitality. She is excited to share her home with guests from all corners of the world and invites you to experience everything that The Vineyards Bed and Breakfast has to offer.
