Tambrala’s journey to The Vineyards Bed and Breakfast began one cold, Midwestern winter evening as she sat at the fireplace, sipping Pinot Noir and asking herself why she continued to endure bitter winters. As the wine flowed, she became even more prophetic with her questions: Why am I putting up with the daily work grind? Where would I most like to live? What new career path could I take? Am I brave enough to give up a comfortable lifestyle and take the plunge?…
You get the picture. The beginning of a wonderful new adventure was born that night! Tambrala resigned from a 19-year School Psychology career (as well as her Wedding Coordinator business) and chose the most amazing place to move her family: Page Springs, Arizona just outside of Sedona.
As someone who loves to travel, she’d visited Sedona often and had fallen in love with the beauty and versatile adventures that the area has to offer (not to mention the awesome year-round weather). Her favorite thing to do while vacationing was to find a Bed & Breakfast for lodging. She loved staying in homes where she felt like family and could trust the hosts with all of their local recommendations. Often, her hosts would comment on the fact that she would be a wonderful B&B host due to her social nature and love of B&Bs. (Tambrala always wanted to be Julie, the cruise director from The Love Boat. That shows her age, she knows.) Voila, her new career path was born.
